Paper Accessories (programs, menus, decorations ect.): April 14th 1-3 pm

Cost: $30 per workshop, $15 for your helper. 10% discount on materials purchased the day of class. Class space is limited, prior registration required.

CLASS #1 – Save-the-Date

 PROJECT: Construction of 3 Save the DatesCurriculum: 3 styles of brides

DESCRIPTION: Send out a Save-the-Date that lets your guests know your wedding will be a memorable occasion to look forward to. Learn the tips and techniques on how to handcraft some very unforgettable Save-the-Dates yourself in this upcoming class. Sending out your message in a fun, creative and unique way can truly personalize a wedding and create quite a stir with your guests.

This Save-the-Date class will present the methods to learn how to work with paper, ribbons, gluing and accessories when assembling your own pieces. The instructor will work with each bride looking at their individual style and how to translate that into the theme of your special day. Wording and layout instructions will be given along with a sample packet of finished Save-the-Dates to further inspire the class participant when they leave Bellevue Art & Frame.

You can invite family and friends to attend the class with you adding to the fun and excitement of the big day or you can do it all yourself. We are certain that this class will be a fun and inspiring addition to your wedding planning.

ALL supplies will be included with the class fee however all tools that are used in the class will remain with Bellevue Art & Frame.

CLASS #2 – Invitations

PROJECT: Construction of a sample invitation suite

DESCRIPTION: Send an invitation that sets the tone and tells your guests about you and your spouse and the incredible event they have been requested to attend. This is the piece that every other paper décor element for your wedding will be drawn from. Learn the tips and techniques on how to put together an invitation suite yourself in this class. Sending out your invitation should be the first step in creating your perfect wedding day.

This class will focus on completing one invitation suite (invite, mailing envelope, RSVP card and envelope, accommodations card and directions card) and specifically how they will be presented together in your invitation. DESCRIPTION: Create wedding day accessories that tie it all together. Using elements of imagery, type and color from your invitations we’ll make a splash with some fun décor elements for your wedding. Learn through examples some of the accessories you can add to your wedding. The focus of the class will be exploring the options that are out there to create some memorable additions to your special day with some quick tips and techniques on how to put together the accessories. We want to teach you how to create something sweet for your guests to take with them.

The instructor will work with each bride looking at their individual style and venue and how to create additional accessories that incorporate the theme of your special day. A sample packet of ideas to further inspire the class participant will be handed out when they leave Bellevue Art & Frame.
