One of the things we love about our new space is the flex gallery area on the lower level and Kidspace on our upper level. We have an opportunity to showcase artists, have classes, workshops and educational presentations plus get those budding artists introduced to fun and creativity in Kidspace.

Bring in your original structure on or before Feb 29th and
enter our Lego contest for most creative use of bricks.
Prizes awarded March 3rd during Lego Event.
Receive a $5.00 BAF Buck just for entering.

Contest Rules
1. Structure needs to be on display at The Toy Place with a name and age card.
2. Structure goes on display starting February 25th.
3. Last day for entry is February 29th.
4. Entries voted on by the general public starting Feb.29th.
5. Please let children create their own work.
(no help from Mom or Dad)
6. Dimensions cannot exceed 12”x12”x12”.
7. When you bring in your entry, Bellevue Art & Frame and The Toy Place have the right
to post your image on facebook making your picture available to the rest of the
world. Your picture may be used in the future without giving either of us any royalties.
8. All Lego creations must remain on display through March 9th .

Our most popular workshop, Mat Cutting is back. If you want to learn how to cut mats for your artwork or photography now is the time! It is easy if you have the right equipment and a little instruction. Using Logan Matcutters 301S (shown), 450 and 750, we'll show you how to cut single, double and multiple opening mats. We will also show you how to cut custom mats for readymade frames.

Limit - 12 - Fee: $10 or free with purchase of a Logan matcutter. This is also a terrific way to "try before you buy". The $10 fee can be credited towards your matcutter purchase.
