Thirty artists, one each day in April, will create an original work of art while you watch.

Works will be exhibited as they are completed, ending with a celebration and auction on May 14th of the artwork to benefit the Bellevue Schools Foundation
All events are open to the public. Come see local artists at work, bid on your favorite works of art, and support local artists and the Bellevue Schools Foundation.

| event description: |
| Thirty-one 16"x20" canvases will be hung in our art department. Each canvas or surface suitable for the choosen medium will start out blank, labeled with the name of an artist and the date that the artist will create his or her piece. |
| Every day in April, between noon.and 4 P.M., a different artist will create a painting, drawing, collage, or print in the medium of his or her choice. |
| Artists will work in our art department. The public is invited to drop in each day to watch as artists create their paintings and drawings. |
| As each piece is finished, the canvases will be returned to their place in the gallery. Bid sheets will accompany each art piece. The public may bid on works by silent auction from April 1 through May 14th. Minimum bid for each work will start at $75. Optional "guaranteed- winning-bid" prices may be set by artists for some pieces. |
| A reception for artists and the public will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. The auction will continue through the reception and will close at the end of the evening. |
| All funds raised will benefit the Bellevue Schools Foundation, Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF) promotes and helps fund the best possible learning opportunities for all students in the Bellevue School District. All funds raised will benefit BSF which supports the efforts of 150 artist from 6 high schools in the Bellevue school district. |
| Artists will receive 50% of the winning bid price for their work. |

| Artists may work in the medium, style, and subject of their choice. A 16"x20" surface (canvas or primed panel) suitable to the chosen medium will be provided along with a $25.00 gift certificate towards the purchase of supplies. |
| Artists are welcome to bring additional supplies to supplement the materials provided. |
| Artists will work at a work station (easel, stool/chair, table space) in our art department. The public will be invited to watch. |
| Ideally, works will be created as much as possible from start to finish during the hours of noon.to 4 P.M. on the day each artist is scheduled. By arrangement, artists may pick up their surface beforehand and/or take it with them to continue working for up to two additional days. |
| Artists will receive 50% of the winning bid price for their work. Minimum bid for all works will be $75. Artists may set a "guaranteed-winning-bid" price for their work if desired. Artists may elect to donate all or part of their percentage to Bellevue Schools Foundation. |
| Participating artists are strongly encouraged to attend the public reception on the evening of May 14th 2011.. |
