Pens – Sakura Pigma Micron  #05, and/or #08  - note: this is a waterproof pen.  Only waterproof ink can be used with watercolor.
Paints – (Windsor Newton Cotman is a good student grade)

Brushes
¾” or 1” Flat (wash)
#8 or #10 Round

Palette
Any plastic palette that has room for mixing space will work; the 10” round one is good

Paper
Smooth (hot press) Watercolor paper, a few individual sheets or in a pad

Water container – any container big enough to dip the brushes in and hold about a cup of water,
